It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Arthur Yanoff, the owner and Chairman of North Sea Insurance Company. Arthur died at his home in Boca Raton, FL late on January 7, 2008.

The family requests donations are made to the American Diabetes Association.

We also learned of the passing of Bernard “Bernie “Fleischer, a popular NY City and Long Island agent and association member. Mr. Fleisher, who founded the Bernard Fleischer and Sons Inc. in 1949, died on January 2nd, 2008 after a long illness. Mr. Fleischer's agency supplies bonds as well as personal and commercial insurance and operates a risk management firm, Advanced Insurance Solutions.
