Over the past few months, we have received a number of comments from our advertisers about the effect the impact of the economic climate has on their advertising budget, specifically advertising in TriLines. The trend seems to be that it is more beneficial to sponsor a meeting than to advertise in TriLines, as meeting sponsorship buys a company, wholesaler, vendor, etc… “face time” with the agents who attend the meeting. However, advertising in TriLines can go a long way and is a terrific value.

Shortly, advertisers will be provided with our updated media kit, which will include the ability to digitally advertise on our website. To our advertisers, please rest assured that the Bulletin committee is dedicated to provide you with the most mileage that you can possibly get for your advertising dollar. This will also include our offering a digital banner ad that will link your TriLines ad to the TriCounty Website as well as to your own website; the ability to send e-blasts to over 340 TriCounty member agencies, and other valuable benefits; all at a very reasonable cost to you.

In any event, whether it’s advertising in TriLines, or sponsoring a meeting, it is incumbent upon our members to support those who are the life blood of our association. We rely on the advertising and sponsor revenue to provide member advocacy, educational and entertaining meetings and programs, and visibility in Albany and Washington on legislative matters.

I urge you, our members to please support those who support us!
